How do I remove a provider from a student’s service or team?
There are two ways to remove a provider from a student’s service or team:
- From the Agency Scheduler window, use the default Add by Provider search function. Select the provider’s name from the Provider Name/Credentials field, select the school in the Student’s School field, then click Retrieve Students. Turn on the toggle next to All Services, then scroll until you find the student’s name and service. If you see a Remove Provider button next to the service, click Remove Provider to remove the provider from the student’s service and the team. If you see a Remove From Team button, the provider has existing service logs, so you can click Remove From Team to remove the provider’s access to the student.
- From the Agency Scheduler window, click Add by Student. Select the student’s name from the Select Student field, the click Retrieve Student Details. Click on the correct service, then scroll through the Manage Providers list to find the provider’s name. If you see a Remove Provider button next to the service, click Remove Provider to remove the provider from the student’s service and the team. If you see a Remove From Team button, the provider has existing service logs, so you can click Remove From Team to remove the provider’s access to the student.
If I remove a provider from a student service, will their service logs remain accessible?
When you remove a provider, the provider no longer has access to the student and cannot enter any more service logs. However, as a nursing supervisor, you may be able to still view, edit, copy, and delete the provider’s past service logs, depending on your account security settings. All users with access to the student can still view service logs by providers who were removed.
Can I submit a service log for a provider that is no longer assigned to a student or service?
Nursing supervisors with proxy rights can only submit service logs for a provider who is assigned to a student service. Additionally, providers are unable to submit service logs for students and services they are no longer assigned to.
I accidentally removed a provider from a student’s service or team. What should I do?
You can always add a provider back to a student service or team by searching for the provider and student and clicking either Add Provider or Add to Team.
